How to Troubleshoot Microsoft Error Messages
1. Visit the 'Microsoft Product Solution' website and select your problematic Microsoft product. Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base with your error message details or explore the categorized issues for your error message.
2. Click on Start, then 'Help and Support.' (You may also click on 'Help' in the menu bar, then click on 'Help.') Search for your error message or error code. Follow the on-screen links to proceed with automated troubleshooting techniques, or read and follow the directions to correct the error messages.
3. Visit the Fix It Solution Center (see 'Resources'). Browse the product categories and download a Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services fix related to your error message. Microsoft does not provide an automated fix for every error message, so you may be unable to use this service.
