How to Troubleshoot a Remote Desktop That Doesn't Connect With No Error

1. Ensure that your PC computer has an active Internet connection. No Remote Desktop sessions will work unless you are connected to the Internet.
2. Perform a full restart of your computer. Sometimes a simple reboot will fix a minor issue with Remote Desktop that was preventing connections from being established.

3. Open the Start menu and click 'Control Panel.'
4. Double-click 'Display' and go to the 'Settings' tab at the top of the pop-up window.
5. Click on the 'Advanced' button and go to the 'Adapter' tab.
6. Press the 'Properties' button in the 'Adapter Type' box.
7. Go to the 'Driver' tab and click 'Update Driver.'
8. Choose to search for driver updates through Windows Update and then wait for the Hardware Update Wizard to find and install the updated graphics driver.
9. Restart your computer and attempt the Remote Desktop connection again.
