Update device drivers
1. Click 'Start 'and 'Run'.
2. Type 'devmgmt.msc' (without quotes) in the 'Open' field and click 'Open'. This opens the 'Device Manager' window.

3. Look in the list for drivers with an exclamation mark, which indicates the driver is not properly installed or needs to be updated.
4. Right-click on the bad driver.
5. Click 'Update Driver' to open the Hardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to update your driver.
Uninstall incompatible software
6. Open the Control Panel.
7. Double-click 'Add or Remove Programs'; this opens the programs list.
8. Uninstall any software you recently loaded that may be the cause of the error.
Windows Update
9. Go to 'Start' and click 'Windows Update'. This opens the update website.
10. Select 'Express'. Windows Update will download updates and security patches, and will update old drivers.
11. Restart your computer.
