How to Fix an Error on a Page in Windows XP

1. Double-click the Internet Explorer desktop icon to open and run the application.
2. Click on the 'Tools' option, which is found on the main menu bar on the top portion of the Explorer page.

3. Choose and click 'Internet Options' in the drop menu.
4. Select and click the 'Advanced' tab, found on the top portion of the 'Internet Options' dialog box.
5. Click 'Reset,' found under the 'Reset Internet Explorer Settings' category.
6. Click on the 'Apply' button. Then click 'OK.' This will reset and restore your Internet Explorer page to its original settings, removing any downloaded components, thus fixing any errors on your Internet Explorer web browser.
