1. Click 'Start' and select 'Run.' Input 'regedit' and press 'Enter.' The Windows registry editor will appear.
2. Navigate through the registry using the ' ' and '-' icons in the left window pane and locate the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\Components' registry value.

3. Right-click 'DeskHtmlVersion' in the right window pane and select 'Modify.' The 'Edit DWORD Value' dialog box will appear.
4. Enter '0' in the 'Value data' field and click 'OK.' Close the registry editor by clicking 'File' and selecting 'Exit' at the top of the window.
5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
