How to Fix an Internet Explorer 8 Certificate Error

1. Open the Internet Explorer Web browser and navigate to the page that is giving you a certificate error.
2. Click 'Tools' and then 'Internet Options.' Open the 'Advanced' tab in the Internet Options window.

3. Uncheck the boxes next to 'Check for publisher's certificate revocation' and 'Check for server certificate revocation' in the 'Security' section. Click 'Apply,' then click 'OK' to save your changes.
4. Click the refresh button or press the 'F5' key on your keyboard to reload the page. You should no longer receive the certificate error.
