How to Fix Corrupt Display Drivers

1. Turn on your computer, and press the F8 key before Windows loads. This will bring up the boot options menu on your screen.
2. Select the 'start Windows in Safe Mode' option, and allow Windows to boot up.

3. Click on the Start menu and access the Control Panel. Don't worry that Windows looks different; safe mode is a diagnostic boot of Windows that runs on minimal drivers for ease of troubleshooting.
4. Open the 'System' icon.
5. Click the 'Hardware' tab, and then click the 'Device Manager' button.
6. Find your display adapter, and right-click it. Select the 'Delete' option from the menu. This will delete your display adapter drivers.
7. Restart your computer, and allow Windows to load normally. Windows will detect your video card once it loads; if you do not have a driver disk, allow Windows to install your software automatically. If you do have a driver disk, insert it and install the drivers from the disk.
