Uninstalling The HP Software
1. Disconnect the USB cable from your printer and computer. Turn the printer on. Go to the 'HP' website (see Resources) and type your product number into the field.
2. Click the 'Next' button and select your operating system from the menu. Click the 'Next' button. Click the ' ' sign next to the 'Driver' icon, then click on the driver for your product.

3. Click the 'Download' button, then click the 'Save' button. Save the software to your desktop. Double-click on the software package once it has downloaded to your system.
4. Click the 'Start' button on your desktop, then click the 'Search' field. Type 'uninstall_L3' and click the 'Search' button.
5. Double-click on the 'Uninstall_L3.bat' file. Wait for the program to uninstall your software.
Register The Windows Installer
6. Click the 'Start' button, then click he 'Run' button.
7. Type 'msiexec / unreg' into the field. Click the 'OK' button.
8. Click the 'Start' button, then click the 'Run' button.
9. Type 'msiexec / regserver.' Click the 'OK' button.
10. Wait for the process to complete.

12. Click the 'Next' button. Select your operating system from the menu. Click the 'Next' button. Click on the ' ' sign next to the 'Driver' icon, then click on the driver for your product.
13. Click the 'Download' button, then click the 'Save' button. Save the software to your desktop. Double-click on the software package once it has downloaded to your system.
14. Double-click on the 'Install' program in the software package.
15. Follow the prompts until the software has been reinstalled on your computer.
