How to Deactivate the Kernel Debugger

Manually Remove Kernel Debugger
1. Click the 'Start' button, and then select 'Run'. Type 'regedit' in the text box and press the 'Enter' key. This will open the Windows Registry Editor.
2. Click the 'plus' ( ) sign next to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' to expand the folder list. Click the 'plus' sign next to the 'Software' folder, the 'Microsoft' folder, the 'Windows NT' folder and the 'CurrentVersion' folder.

3. Click the 'AeDebug' folder to view its contents. Right-click 'Auto' and select 'Properties' from the contextual menu.
4. Type '0' in the 'Value data' text box and click the 'OK' button to save the change.
5. Click the 'File' drop down and select 'Exit' to close the Windows Registry Editor.
Microsoft Fix-It
6. Click the link in Resources Microsoft Fix it 50058. Click the 'Save File' button and save the file to your desktop.
7. Double-click the 'MicrosoftFixit50058.msi' file to run the utility.
8. Put a check in the box for 'I agree' and then click the 'Next' button to run the utility.
9. Click the 'Close' button to close the Fix it window.
