1. Click the 'Start' button from your desktop and then click the 'Run' option.
2. Enter 'cmd' into the 'Open' box and then press the 'Enter' key.

3. Enter 'expand CD_drive:\i386\srvsvc.dl_ C:\Windows\system32\srvsvc.dll' into the command prompt and then click the 'OK' button. Replace the 'CD_drive' portion of the text with the letter of your CD drive.
4. Close out of the command prompt. Click the 'Start' button again and then click the 'Run' option.
5. Enter 'Services.msc' into the 'Open' box and then right-click on the service you received the error with. Click the 'Start' option and the service should start correctly.
