Re-register Windows Installer Service
1. Restart your computer and press the F8 key repeatedly as soon as you see the BIOS information on your screen. Pressing the F8 key allows you to access the 'Safe Mode' of your computer. Select 'Safe Mode' and hit 'Enter.'
2. Log on as 'local administrator.' Click 'Start' and select 'Run.' Type 'cmd.exe' in the 'Run' box and click 'OK.' This will open the DOS (command) prompt.

3. Un-register Windows Installer service by typing 'msiexec/unregister' at the command prompt and hit 'Enter.' Immediately re-register Windows Installer by typing 'msiexec/regserver' on the next command line and hit 'Enter.' Type 'Exit' to close out of the command prompt. You can now attempt to remove the program once again from 'Add or Remove Programs.'

4. Click 'Start,' select 'Run,' type 'cmd.exe' and click 'OK.' This brings up a DOS (command) prompt.
5. Type 'sfc/purgecache' at the command prompt and hit 'Enter.' At the next prompt, type 'sfc/scannow' and hit 'Enter.'
6. Type 'Exit' to close out the command prompt and once again attempt to remove the program from 'Add or Remove Programs.'

1. The first thing you must do ultimately is have your computer encounter the Blue Screen of Death. If you've already been having this issue in the past, that is fine as you may already have the Minidump file on your computer.The first thing you must do to get this minidump is click Start, go to run and type C:\Windows\Minidump and hit enter. So once you locate the Symbols folder and hit ok, it should look something like this:Once you have the symbol file path displayed, hit ok.
5. Now you drag and drop the minidump file into Debugging Tools for Windows. The file will begin to process. It will cease shortly after. Once the file stops, you will see a !analyze -v in blue. Click that, and Debugging Tools for Windows will now begin to process the minidump so that you can read it.

Install Updates
1. Install any updates that may be available for your Windows system. To find and install available updates, open the “Start” menu, click “All Programs” and select “Windows Update” from the menu. Click “Yes” to confirm the action if prompted.
2. Select the “Check for updates” option in the left pane of the “Windows Update” window. Click “View available updates' and 'Driver updates' for all of the devices that are installed on your computer. Updates will appear in list form.

3. Click each driver update that you want to install on your Windows system and press the “Install” button. If prompted to confirm the action or enter the administrator password, do so and click “OK.” The updates to your device drivers are now installed on your system.

4. Run your antivirus software’s virus scan on your system. This is generally accomplished by opening the program and clicking a “Scan Now” or “Start Scan” button on the main screen. The virus scan finds and eliminates files that are affiliated with viruses that are on your system. If you do not have an antivirus software installed on your system, this is probably part of the issue and you should install one for continuous antivirus protection.
5. Download and install a registry cleaner. Several are available to download for free at CNET.com.
6. Run the registry cleaner on your system. Like virus scan software, registry cleaners are generally started by clicking one button on the main page. The registry cleaner finds and deletes any remaining files that have been left behind in the system’s registry by the antivirus software.

9. Go to the “SOFTWARE” folder under the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE” key, then to “Microsoft” and click “Ole.” Double click “EnableDCOM,” change the “Value Data” from “Y” to “N” and click “OK.'
10. Restart the computer and the changes you have made in the registry should take effect. With the ports closed, the Win32 errors should stop.
