1. Click 'Start,' 'Control Panel,' 'System and Maintenance' and then 'Administrative Tools.'
2. Double-click 'Services.' Click 'Continue' if prompted.

3. Scroll down and right-click 'Print Spooler' in the Services window. Click 'Properties.'
4. Click the 'General' tab and verify that the box in the center, next to Startup Type, says 'Automatic.' If it doesn't, click the drop-down arrow and change it to 'Automatic.'
5. Click 'Start' farther down the windows in the Service Status section if the service hasn't been started. If it has, you will not be able to press the 'Start' button. Click 'OK.' Your print spooler problems should be fixed.
