1. Click the Windows 'Start' button, type 'regedit' in the Search field and point to 'regedit.exe.'
2. Press 'Ctrl-Shift-Enter' to launch the Registry Editor with administrative credentials.

3. Navigate through 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | Control | Class | {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.'
4. Right-click 'LowerFilters' from the right pane and select 'Delete' from the context menu.
5. Click 'Yes,' when prompted, to remove the value from the registry. Right-click 'UpperFilters.'
6. Click 'Delete' and select 'Yes' to remove the value. Restart the computer to resolve the error code.
