Device was Removed
1. Restart or turn on system.
2. Remove the device driver. Right-click on 'My Computer' on your computer screen and then select 'Properties.' Click the 'Hardware' tab and locate the 'Driver' tab. The device generating the error code will have an exclamation point next to it. Click the driver to remove this device.

3. Reattach the device. A window will open with the option 'Scan for New Devices.'
4. Click the 'Scan for new Devices' button.
5. Reinstall the driver. Windows will ask if you want to install device drivers for the device. Click 'Yes.'
6. Restart your computer.
Device Still Attached
7. Go to the manufacturer's website for the device that is generating the error code.
8. Locate the model number of the device.
9. Download updated drivers for the device.
10. Restart your computer.
