1. Click the Windows 'Start' button and access the Control Panel.
2. Choose 'Administrative Tools' and then select the 'Event Viewer' folder.

3. Choose the words 'System' and 'Apps' inside 'Event Viewer.' Select each item one at a time from the list that appears.
4. Examine the right side of the screen each time you select an item. If it shows an error, right-click the item and select 'Properties.'
5. Choose 'Note error ID and Source.' Click on either the error code or the listed ID, which appears in blue. Click 'Yes' to confirm to see the error code.
6. Right-click the program that the Event Viewer identified as causing the error and choose the 'Disable' or 'Uninstall' option.
