1. Click 'Start' and select the 'All Programs' option. Select 'Accessories,' right-click 'Command Prompt' and choose the 'Run as administrator' option.
2. Type 'net stop winmgmt' in the command prompt and hit the 'Enter' key on the keyboard.
3. Use Windows Explorer to rename the file from 'C:\Windows\System32\Wbem\Repository' to something else, such as 'C:\Windows\System32\Wbem\Repository_bad.'
4. Type 'net start winmgmt' in the command prompt, then hit 'Enter.' Type 'Exit' and hit 'Enter' again.
