How to Fix the 'No DNS Error' on Windows XP SP2

1. Click the 'Start' button and select 'Control Panel.'
2. Click 'Network and Internet Connections,' find 'Network Connections' and then right-click on your network connection (it's usually the first one listed).

3. Look at both the 'General' tab and the 'Networking' tab and find a section called 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).' Click it and then click 'Properties.'
4. Click 'Obtain DNS server address automatically.' Click 'Apply.' Check if your Internet connection is now working.If it is not, contact your Internet Service Provider and ask for their DNS server addresses. You should get two strings of numbers. Click 'Use the following DNS server Addresses' and then enter the strings of numbers into the two fields. Click 'Apply.'Your Internet connection should now be working.
