1. Navigate to the 'Start' menu and select 'Programs.' Open 'Accessories' and right-click 'Command Prompt.' Select 'Run as' and click 'The Following User.'
2. Type the administrator account information in the 'User name' and 'Password' fields. Press 'Enter.' The Command dialog is displayed.
3. Type 'net stop wuauserv' in the prompt and press 'Enter.'
4. Type 'regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wups2.dll' in the prompt. Press 'Enter.'
5. Type 'net start wuauserv' in the prompt, and press 'Enter.' Exit the Command Prompt.
