1. Insert your system CD into your PC. This CD is labeled with the name of your computer's manufacturer or with 'Microsoft Windows.'
2. Press a key when you see the message, 'Press Any Key to Boot From CD.'

3. Select 'R' to repair your Windows installation when the 'Welcome to Setup' menu appears. This allows you to access the recovery console.
4. Type 'chdsk /f' when the console appears. This command runs the disk checking utility and fixes most NT FileSystem errors automatically.
5. Watch your computer screen as the disk checking utility runs. If there is a physical problem with your computer's hard drive, a notice should appear. This indicates the need to replace your computer's hard drive.
6. Restart your computer when it prompts you to do so. You will no longer receive NT FileSystem errors.
