How to Use ScanReg to Correct Errors

1. Select the 'Run' option from the Start menu.
2. Type 'scanreg' in the Run text box and click the 'Run' button. ScanReg will then scan your machine for registry errors. If no errors are detected, your registry is clean and no further action is required.
3. Type 'scanreg/fix' in the Run text box and click the 'Run' button. If your initial scan detected problems in your registry, this command will scan the registry again and fix any errors.
