1. Insert the original Windows XP CD into your computer and restart the PC.
2. Press any key to boot from the CD.

3. Press 'Enter' then 'F8' to begin the installation and accept the licensing agreement.
4. Highlight the letter of the drive upon which you wish to install Windows and press 'Enter.' The 'Asms' file will be copied over along with all other Windows XP installation files.
