6. Select 'Performance and Maintenance,' then 'System.' This opens the System Properties window. The amount of RAM your computer has is listedhere.

Find the technical specifications for the program the runtime error is affecting; these specifications are usually on the box the program came in, or on the website you downloaded the program from. Find the minimum amount of RAM necessary in order to run the program, and compare it to your PC's amount of RAM.
