Update Driver
1. Click 'Start,' then select 'Control Panel.'
2. Click 'System and Security,' then click 'Device Manager' under the 'System' heading.

3. Click the small arrow next to 'DVD/CD-ROM Drives' and right-click on the CD burner.
4. Select 'Properties' from the pop-up menu, then click the 'Driver' tab. Click the 'Update Driver' button. The Update Driver Software window opens.
5. Click 'Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.' Windows searches the Internet for an updated version of the CD burner's driver, then automatically installs it.
Update Firmware
6. Launch a Web browser and go to the support section of your computer manufacturer's website.
7. Use the search options to locate the model of your computer. Click the 'Software,' 'Downloads' or 'Firmware' section. Alternatively, you can select the 'Downloads,' 'Drivers and Downloads' or 'Software Downloads' tab on the Support page if applicable.
8. Select the option to update the firmware for your computer's CD burner. Click the 'Download' button and save the file to your computer.
9. Double-click the file, then follow the instructions from the Firmware installation wizard to update the CD burner's firmware. Click 'Finish' after the wizard updates the firmware.

1. Double-click the icon for Internet Explorer to open the program.
2. Click the 'Tools' drop down and select 'Internet Options' at the bottom. This opens the 'Internet Options' window.

3. Go to the 'Security' tab and verify that 'Internet' is selected under 'Select a Web content zone to specify its security settings.' Click the 'Custom Level' icon and scroll down to the 'Miscellaneous' section.
4. Select 'Enable' for 'Don't prompt for client certificate when no certificates or only one certificate exists.' Click the 'OK' button to save the change.
5. Go to the 'Advanced' tab scroll down to the 'Security' section.
6. Uncheck the box for 'Warn about certificate address mismatch.' Click the 'Apply' button to save the change
7. Click the 'OK' button to close the Internet Options window.

1. Follow the link to the provided Microsoft support page (see Resources).
2. Click 'Download the Software Licensing System Reset Tool package now.' A new window will appear, asking if you'd like to save the file. Click 'Save File.'

3. Select the icon title 'Mskbr928080.exe.' It will be located in a pop-up window titled 'Downloads.'
4. Click 'OK' and 'Run.' This will bring up the license agreement. Select 'I agree.' The installation will now take place. When it is completed, another will appear, asking you to unzip the software. Click 'Unzip,' and the file will now be placed in its appropriate spot.
5. Try to install Microsoft Windows Flight Simulator X Deluxe or Standard. It should work smoothly now without any errors

1. Click the Windows “Start” button and double-click on “Computer.” Double click on the “C:” drive and then click on the “Program Files” directory. Click on the 'Lexmark' subdirectory – the name will vary depending on your printer model number.
2. Find the “aioc_app.ini” file and right-click on it. Click “Cut” from the context menu and then right-click on another directory such as “Documents.” Click “Paste” to move the selected file to a different location.

3. Click the “Start” button. Click “Programs.” Locate and click on the “Lexmark All-in-One Center” icon. The software should load without reporting the AIOC.exe error and all features should be functioning correctly.
4. Right-click on the “aioc_app.ini” file and click “Cut.” Right-click inside the “Lexmark” directory where the file was previously located and click “Paste” to move the file back to the original folder.
5. Start the “Lexmark All-in-One Center” software again to confirm that the issue has been resolved. If not, remove the “aioc_app.ini” file entirely and reboot your computer.

3. Click 'Zone Alarm' and press 'Uninstall.'
4. Restart your computer when the uninstall is complete.

1. Click 'Start' and select 'Run.' Input 'regedit' and press 'Enter.' The Windows registry editor will appear.
2. Navigate through the registry using the ' ' and '-' icons in the left window pane and locate the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Desktop\Components' registry value.

3. Right-click 'DeskHtmlVersion' in the right window pane and select 'Modify.' The 'Edit DWORD Value' dialog box will appear.
4. Enter '0' in the 'Value data' field and click 'OK.' Close the registry editor by clicking 'File' and selecting 'Exit' at the top of the window.
5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

1. Windows 2000/XP: Click on 'Start' and go to 'Run.'Windows Vista/7: Click on 'Start' and click in the 'Search' box.
2. Windows 2000/XP: Type in the 'Run' box, 'SFC.EXE /SCANNOW' (without the quotes) and press 'Enter.'Windows Vista/7: Type in the 'Search' box, 'SFC.EXE /SCANNOW' (without the quotes) and press 'Enter.' Then, right-click on the search result 'SFC.EXE' and select 'Run as administrator.'

3. Allow the program to run. Insert your Windows Installation CD when prompted and push the 'OK' or 'Retry' button.
4. Remove the CD once the repair scan has finished. Then, immediately go to 'WindowsUpdate.com'
5. Download all available updates, and then restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

Fixing Code 39
1. Select 'Run,' from the 'Accessories' menu, type 'regedit' then click 'OK.' Windows will ask for user permission, click 'Continue.'
2. Click 'Edit' on the menu bar, then click 'Find.' Carefully copy and paste the key below in the 'find what' window, click 'Find Next.' This can take some time. Or find the key manually. It should be the first key in the series, there are several exactly the same.HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

3. Check the key to be sure it is the correct one, in the right window pane find the 'Data value' which will read DVD/CD-ROM while the 'Class data' will read CD-ROM.
4. Right-click the key '{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}' and click 'Export.' In the next window name the key 'DVD/CDRom key' and click 'Save.'
5. Right-click on the 'UpperFilters' and select delete; when prompted to confirm delete, select 'Yes.' Repeat this for the 'LowerFilters' key.
6. Close the registry editor and reboot your computer.

1. Click 'Start,' 'All Programs' and 'Accessories.' Right-click the 'Command Prompt' icon and select 'Run as administrator.' The Command Prompt opens.
2. Type, without the quotation marks, 'chkdsk /p' into the Command Prompt and press 'Enter.' Windows will scan your computer for disk integrity problems, including Windows\System32\Config\System errors, and repair them. This can take several minutes.

3. Restart your computer.

1. Click 'Start' and type 'regedit' in 'Search.' Press 'Enter.'
2. Navigate through the keys in the following order: 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,' 'SYSTEM,' 'CurrentControlSet,' 'Control,' 'Class,' and '{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.'

3. Right click the following keys and select 'Delete': 'UpperFilters,' 'LowerFilters,' 'UpperFilters.bak,' 'LowerFilters.bak.'
4. Restart the computer.
