1. Save your progress. Before you try any Movie Maker error fixes, make sure all your work is saved. Select the 'File' tab and choose 'Save Project.'
2. Restart the computer. Many errors and computer issues can be fixed with a simple restart.

3. Check your transitions. Some transitions can become corrupt and will not publish into a movie file. If a movie stops processing and you receive an error saying the file cannot finish publishing, go to the last transition it processed and change the transition. Update Movie Maker regularly.
4. Visit the Microsoft website and find updates for your version of Movie Maker. Download the updates and install them. Restart your computer when the installation has finished, activating the updates. Regular Windows updates contain Movie Maker updates from time to time. These updates fix many errors and will reduce future errors.
5. Close the open programs on your computer that are not in use. Each program running uses some of the computer's processing speed and memory. Running multiple programs at once can slow the computer down drastically and cause processing errors.
6. Check your computer's statistics. Right-click on the 'Computer' icon on the desktop or click Start and right click on 'Computer.' Windows Movie Maker's minimum system requirements are a 600 megahertz processor, 128 MB of RAM, two GB of hard drive space, and Windows 98 or later.
7. Perform a disk defragment. Click on the 'Start' button and select 'All Programs' or 'Programs.' Find 'System Tools' in the 'Accessories' folder. Scroll down the list and locate 'Disk Defragmenter.' Choose the drive you want defragmented and start the process. This may take a few minutes or a few hours, depending on the hard drive.
8. Fix registry errors. Windows registry needs to be scanned and fixed at least once a month. Free programs are available that will scan and fix registry errors for you, like Glary Utilities and Spotmau.
9. Scan your computer for viruses, spyware and malware. These programs can slow down computers and eat away at the memory, causing Movie Maker to present memory errors.
10. Uninstall and reinstall the program. Viruses and other computer problems can corrupt .DLL files and other files needed to run Movie Maker. Reinstalling it will put these files back on the computer.

1. Take note of the last file name of the process creating the error that ends in 'DLL.'
2. Click the Windows desktop 'Start' button. Type 'command' (without quotes) into the 'Search' text box. The DOS box will open. Type 'services:msc' (without quotes) into the DOS box. Press the 'Enter' key.

3. Choose the DLL process from the first step and right-click the service. Select the 'Stop' button.
4. Type 'regedit' into the DOS box to run the Microsoft registry editor. Go to the Rundll registry key by typing the following into the 'Search' field box: 'Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run'
5. Select the key that appears, and ensure that the value connected to the key ends with the same DLL name as in Step 1. Click the value and select 'Delete' if it matches.
6. Reboot your computer system and the 'Rundll' error will be fixed.

1. Release and renew the IP address. Open a Windows Command Line prompt and type the command “IP CONFIG /RELEASE” and press the “Enter” key on your computer keyboard. Next, type “IPCONFIG /RENEW” and press the “Enter” key again. When you are done, close the Command Line open window. To open a Windows Command Line prompt, press the “Start” button on the taskbar. Then, highlight and select “Run” from the drop down menu list. Type “cmd” or “Command” in the “Open” run box and press the “Enter” key. A black and white Window will open on your desktop that resembles a DOS screen with a command prompt, such as C:\>.
2. Click on the button that resembles the letter “X” located near the top and on the right side of the open Command Line window. Once the Command Line window closes, you will be returned back to Windows.

3. Locate the router’s DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) error entry on your computer system. Press the “Start” button on your taskbar. Select “Control Panel” and choose “Administrative Tools” from the menu list. Then select “Event Viewer” to check the “SystemLog” file.
4. Review the DHCP error entry. Normally, Windows will list a network address. You can use this information to help identify a conflicting non-computer device on your system. Open a Windows Command line prompt and type the command “IPCONFIG /ALL” to identify the conflicting device. Also, check the manufacturer’s label to help identify the device, which is usually located underneath it or on the back. Then, restart the device to see if this will help to resolve the IP address conflict.
5. Restart your router if the problem persists and the above steps do not help to renew the IP address. Often, resetting the DHCP server will force the systems on your network to request new IP addresses. Also, it’s advisable to replace your router with a better model if there is a malfunction in the network’s DHCP server, and your computer continues to experience IP address conflicts.

1. Boot Windows 98 into 'Safe Mode.' Hold down the F8 key as the computer starts up. Choose 'Safe Mode' from the boot menu.
2. Click 'Start' and point to the 'Settings' choice. Select 'Control Panel.' Double click the 'System' icon in the 'Control Panel' window.

1. Click the Start button in Windows XP and go to the 'Run' option.
2. Type the following code into the Run box: msiexec /unreg, and then press the 'OK' key.

3. Next, click on the 'Start' button again followed by 'Run' option, and this time, type 'msiexec /regserver' again with the quotation marks followed by the 'OK' key. Attempt to install your application again to see if the process has completed successfully.

4. Click on the Windows Start button and then click the 'Run' option. In the run field, type 'CMD,' and then click the 'OK' button. The MS DOS window should now appear with a blinking cursor.

6. Type the code: msiexec /regserver followed by 'Enter' one last time. Check if your install will now work at this point; the installer should now have unregistered and registered in a work manner.

7. Click “View Certificates” in the window that appears. Click the “Install Certificate” button. Click “Yes” to confirm that you wish to install the certificate.
8. Connect to the website through Internet Explorer to verify that the issue is resolved.

1. Click on the 'NetBackup Administration Console' icon on your computer. Click the 'Connect' button to connect to the 'Master Server.'

6. Restart your computer to ensure the notification is gone.

Fixing the Error 1719 Issue
1. Navigate to your Windows Start menu and choose 'Run.'
2. Type 'CMD' without the quotation marks in the RUN field and then hit 'OK.' The MS-DOS command window will now appear.

3. Type 'msiexec /unreg' without the quotation marks and then hit 'Enter.'
4. Type 'msiexec /regserver' again without quotation marks and press 'Enter.'
5. Type 'Exit' to exit the MS-DOS prompt, and then go to the Windows Start menu. Choose 'Turn Off Computer,' followed by the 'Restart' option. Allow your computer to restart, and the process should now be complete.
