1. Click 'Start' and right-click 'Computer.'
2. Select 'Manage.'

3. Click 'System Tools' and select 'Device Manager.'
4. Locate the webcam or camera software you need to reinstall.
5. Right-click the device and click 'Uninstall.' You will need to uninstall the software before you can reinstall the device drivers.
6. Click 'OK' in the 'Confirm Device Removal' dialog box.
7. Click 'Yes' if prompted to restart your computer. If not, click 'Start' and 'Restart' to manually reboot your computer. You should always reboot your computer when uninstalling or reinstalling programs. Windows will automatically detect that the program was uninstalled and begin reinstalling the hardware.
8. Go the manufacturer's website to see if there is an updated device driver. Download and install any updated driver software.
9. Click 'Start' and 'Restart' to reboot your computer if you've updated the device driver.
