Windows

1. Click 'Start,' select 'Search' then click 'All Files and Folders.'
2. Type 'Wab32.dll' and press 'Enter' on your keyboard.

3. Right click the file (if it shows up on the search menu) and select 'Rename.' If you cannot find the file, that means it was erased at some point, and you can proceed to Step 5.
4. Type 'Wab32.old' to replace the original name and press 'Enter.' Close the search window. Your address book information will remain intact after you rename the file, because the WAB.DLL itself does not store the information. Rather, it allows the computer to access the information in another location.
5. Click 'Start,' select 'Settings' then click 'Control Panel.'
6. Select 'Add/Remove Programs.'
7. Select the 'Windows Setup' tab at the top of the menu. Click 'Components,' then uncheck the box next to 'Microsoft Outlook Express.' Click 'Apply' and wait for the program to uninstall.
8. Re-check the box next to 'Microsoft Outlook Express.' Click 'Apply' to reinstall the program.
9. Restart your computer.

1. Download the install the Windows Installer Clean Up utility. Click 'Start,' click 'All Programs' and then click 'Windows Installer Clean Up' to open the Windows Installer Clean Up utility.
2. Select the network-related program that you are getting the error from by clicking on it.

3. Click 'Remove' to uninstall the network-related program from your computer.
4. Reinstall the network-related program. You should now be able to open it without receiving an error message.

1. Restart your computer and retry playing Roblox. If an error message is displayed or other problems occur, go to the next step.
2. Unistall Roblox. Click the 'Start' button and then click 'Control Panel.'

3. Click 'Programs' and then click 'Programs and Features.'
4. Click the 'Roblox' program and then click 'Uninstall.'
5. Reinstall the 'Roblox' program. Click the 'Roblox Re-Install Link' listed in Resources and then click the reinstallation setup file under the 'What to Do' section.
6. Click 'Run' and then click 'Run' again at the 'Internet Explorer Security Warning' dialog box.
7. Reboot your computer and play Roblox. If an error is displayed or Roblox fails to operate properly, email Roblox for further support.

1. Navigate to the folder where your copy of 'MapleStory' is installed. By default, it is in the 'Program Files' folder on the root of your boot drive.
2. Open the 'HShield' folder located inside your 'Maplestory' folder. double-click the file named 'HSUpdate.exe.' This will manually start the Hackshield updater that can fix the program if any error is preventing it from starting.

3. Start the 'Internet Explorer' browser and click the 'Tools' button at the top of the menu bar. Click the 'Work Offline' button if there is a green check mark next to it to uncheck it. 'MapleStory' and Hackshield connect to the Internet via Internet Explorer (even if you use another browser like Firefox), and having it set to 'offline' mode will cause errors.
4. Type a description of your exact problems with Hackshield in the pop-up window that appears when the program crashes. The details must go in the 'Describe The Problem' section and your e-mail in the smaller section below it. Click the 'Run AhnReport' button to automatically save the error log files and email it to the creators of Hackshield for analysis. This is a last resort to fix Hackshield and should be done only if the previous steps did not rectify the problem.

1. Insert the XP disc into the computer. Restart the PC.
2. Press any key when prompted to boot from CD.

3. Press 'Enter' at the first screen and 'F8' at the second.
4. Highlight the drive containing XP and press 'R' to repair, restoring your XP system and alleviating blue screen errors.

3. Click on the pirated software in the menu that appears.
4. Click the 'Uninstall' button at the bottom of the screen.

5. Select the 'Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors' check-box. This locates any recoverable information or bad sectors and recovers or repairs them.
6. Click the 'Start' button to begin the search and recovery process. This process takes several minutes to several hours depending on the overall size of the disk partition.

Remove Third-Party Software
1. Close Internet Explorer and any other programs after receiving the “Error 403” message.
2. Click on the “Start” button and then click on the “Control Panel” option. Double-click on the “Add/Remove Programs” option in the Control Panel window.

3. Click on the “Install/Uninstall” tab to see a list of programs. Remove any third-party ad removal programs, web accelerators, download assistants, security software or anti-virus software.
4. Click on a program, and then click on the “Add/Remove” button. Allow time for the removal process to complete.
5. Continue removing all third-party programs and then close the Control Panel window. Open Internet Explorer again to see if the message stops appearing.
Remove Windows Update Controls
6. Click on the “Start” button, and then click on the “Run” option. Enter “regsvr32 /u c:\\windows\\system\\wuv3is.dll” into the “Open” field. Click on the “OK” button.
7. Click on the “Start” button again and scroll over the “Find” option. Click on the “Files or Folders” option and enter “wuv3is.dll” in the “Named” field.
8. Right-click on the file when it’s found and click on the “Delete” option. Go back to your desktop and click on the “Start” button again. Click on the “Run” option and enter “Explorer” in the “Open” field. Click on the “OK” button.
9. Click on the “Program Files” option to expand it, and then click on the “WindowsUpdate” option. Click on the “Wuhistv3.log” file from the right navigation pane, and then click on the “Edit” option.
10. Click on the “Invert Selection” option. Press the “Delete” key on your keyboard and then click on the “Yes” button. Close the window and try to access the Windows Update page to see if the error has been fixed.

OpenGL Quick Fix
1. Open the World of Warcraft folder in your hardrive, typically: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft. Open the WTF folder.
2. Open the Config.wtf file with a text editing program like Notepad or WordPad. Type the line: SET gxapi 'OpenGL' at the bottom of the page.

3. Save the Config.wtf file with the new edit and close the World of Warcraft folder. Start World of Warcraft normally from your desktop.

Windows XP
1. Click on 'Start,' then 'Run.' Type 'regedit' (without quotes), then press the 'Enter' key.
2. Navigate to the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock' registry entry in the left column by clicking on the ' ' symbols next to categories to expand them. Highlight the 'Winsock' entry by clicking on it once.

3. Click on 'File,' then 'Export.'
4. Save the file to external media such as a USB thumb drive, external hard drive, SD card or CD/DVD.
5. Right-click 'Winsock,' and left click on 'Delete.' Click on 'Yes' to confirm the deletion.
6. Locate the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2' registry entry in the left column. Highlight the 'Winsock' entry by clicking on it once.
7. Click on 'File,' then 'Export.'
8. Save the file to the same external media you used earlier.
9. Right-click 'Winsock2' in the Registry Editor, then left-click on 'Delete.' Click on 'Yes' to confirm the deletion.
10. Close the Registry Editor.
11. Click on 'Start,' then 'Control Panel.' Double-click 'Network Connections.'
12. Right-click 'Local Area Connections,' then left-click 'Properties.'
13. Click on 'Install' in the Local Area Connection Properties box. Select 'Protocol,' then click on 'Add.'
14. Click on 'Have Disk.'
15. Type 'C:\windows\inf' (without quotes) in the 'Copy manufacturer's files from' field. Click on 'OK.'
16. Select 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP),' then click on 'OK.' Restart the computer
Windows Vista and Windows 7
17. Click on 'Start,' then type 'cmd' (without quotes) in the 'Start Search' text field.
18. Right-click on 'cmd.exe,' and left-click on 'Run as administrator.' Press 'Continue.'
19. Type 'netsh winsock reset' (without quotes), and press 'Enter.'
20. Type 'exit' (without quotes), then press the 'Enter' key.
21. Click on 'Start,' then 'Control Panel.' Click on 'Classic View' in the left column if applicable.
22. Double-click 'Network and Sharing Center' in Windows Vista and 'Find and Fix Problems' in the 'System and Security' header in Windows 7.
23. Click on the 'Diagnose and repair' link in the left column in the Network and Sharing Center. Click on 'View all' in the Task pane if using Windows 7, then click on 'Internet Explorer Performance.' Click 'Next,' then allow Windows 7 to automatically fix the problem. Click 'Close' to finish.
