1. Open the 'Start' menu.
2. Click 'Run' and type 'msiexec /unreg.' Press 'Enter' to uninstall Windows Installer.

3. Click 'Start' and click 'Run.'
4. Type 'msiexec /regserver' to reinstall Windows Installer.
5. Restart your computer.
